Arts Educator Certificate Program
An intense program for artists who wish to teach in public situations such as schools or Senior Centers. This program requires the Artist to take a 70 hour internship course where they are taught how to create and analyze art projects, work with children and adults, teach in a public setting and cooperate with the rules, regulations and laws. In classroom backup and observation is required before they are permitted to teach in classrooms. Each individual is required to participate in a minimum of 5 mediums, examples drawing, painting, music, movement, clay, literature, drama, art history, 3D recycle, etc.
